A small town enlaced in the arms of the river, where the peaceful streets shaded by plane trees and the canals where the old water wheels still turn have given it the name The Venice
of the Comtat.
The Sunday morning markets and the 300 antique dealers who have their shops there
(open on Saturday and Sunday) have earned an international reputation for Isle sur la Sorgue. You
will find the largest concentration of antique dealers outside of Paris.

hillside and winding around the château which crowns the village.
The Sénanque Abbey, built in the 12th century by Cistercian monks, is one of the most beautiful Romanesque abbeys in Provence. Sénanque is still lived in by the monks.
The small village of Roussillon, which is also ranked among “The Most Beautiful Villages of France”, is famous for its ochre cliffs streaked with color from the brightest yellows to the deepest reds.
Ochre is everywhere, in the landscapes and in the washes used on the houses. Enjoy the many hues as you stroll through the streets and squares of Roussillon.
On the way to Bonnieux, you will discover The Pont Julien it is on the antique Via Domitia, the main trade road linking Italy to Spain through the south of Gaul. The building of the roman bridge was achieved in the year 3 BC.
